上原のペントハウス｜Shibuya Penthouse Condo

築３０年の中古マンション専有部のスケルトンリフォーム。建物高さ１０m制限の地域内にある３階建てマンションの最上階。つまり、地域内でも、この階が最上階というコンディションを活かし、建物が密集する渋谷区にありながらも、家族が安心して団らん出来る「喧騒からのエスケープ空間」を構想し、都会における豊かな住環境の実現を目指した。ルーフバルコニーを室内との一体空間として作り込むことで、外界への緩やかなつながりを生みだしつつ、採光と通風を確保しながら、視線を編集することで、自分たちが囲まれたいものだけが感じられる環境を創出しようと考えた。

A skeleton renovation of a 30-year-old penthouse condo, located in the Shibuya district – a neighborhood with houses lined very close together. This condo is located on the 3rd floor of the building, which is the top floor. This area has a 10 meters height regulation. I was trying to realize this penthouse as a “get-away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, Shibuya”. By relating terraces to the interior and by editing the range of view to ensure a comfortable environment of light/wind, this condo contributes to a feeling of relaxation for residents out of the hustle and bustle of city life.
