Collina 武蔵小山 集合住宅｜An apartment complex Collina Musashi-Koyama

耐火木造建築物による集合住宅。品川区の小さい敷地に３フロア、５室のアパートを計画した。敷地形状に従った２つの角度が異なる面と３層のレイヤーにより表情豊かなファサードを構成している。一人暮らしを想定し、引戸により開放的に使える洗面とすることで、限りある空間を出来るだけ広く感じられる内装設計を行なった。Originally it was a fire-resistant wooden apartment building. There were 3 stories and 5 apartments on a small site in Tokyo. I designed a massive façade divided into three sections with angles aligned to the site shape. The extensive use of sliding doors was intended to allow a single tenant to utilize the limited space more effectively.

かまぼこ八兵衛 海老名SA店｜Kamaboko Hachibei in Ebina Service Area

日本一の集客数を誇る海老名上りサービスエリア内にある蒲鉾などを販売する店舗のリニューアル。既存店舗の状態がさほど傷んでいなかったため、可能な限り既存什器や仕上げを残しつつ集客に直結するポイントに絞って改修を行なった。「かまぼこ八兵衛」という名前の知名度が低いので、それよりも取扱商品の有名メーカーの名前がサインとして目立つよう暖簾にてアートワーク的に仕立てた。暖簾により日本食のイメージを醸すだけでなく、取扱メーカーが変わった際も従業員の手で簡単に交換できる利点がある。また、買い回りの動線、店舗全体の視線の抜けが悪かったので、什器移動により整理を行なった。照明デザイナーとのコラボレーションにより、店舗全体の色温度や照度バランスを整えた。この改修により、前年比売上を上回る水準で推移している。This is a renovation project for a food shop specializing in Kamaboko fish paste in the Ebina Service Area, which is the most popular in Japan. Since the shop was in relatively good condition, I wanted to leave some of the existing fittings and décor. I changed the position of some refrigerated fixtures to improve traffic flow through the shop, and create better line of sight all the way to the end of shop. Since the shop name “Kamaboko Hachibei” was unknown, I designed artwork using traditional Japanese signage “Noren” incorporating famous “Kamaboko” makers logos. I collaborated with a lighting designer to control color temperature and provide appropriate illumination.

モノカタリー横浜そごう店｜MONO Ca’ TALY YOKOHAMA

百貨店横浜そごうにて、イタリアファッションのアイテムを扱う店舗。エスカレーター脇の細長いスペースがテナントスペースとして与えられた。１名の店員でも全体が管理できる様、スペースの中央に双方から入ることができる見通しの効く試着室を計画した。この試着室の壁は、サインやディスプレーとしての機能も持つ。A shop selling Italian fashion items in a department store in Yokohama. The shop is located next to the escalator, creating a long narrow site. I designed a compact fitting room in the middle of the site, accessible from both sides, as one staff member could monitor the entire shop. This room’s outer wall also functions as a sign/display board.

Lecture to "Oku-Nikko Regional Development Council"

平本英行が、「奥日光地域づくり住民協議会」の第十回勉強会の講師をさせていただきました。景観づくりの観点から、「奥日光をもっと奥日光らしく。旅行者の期待を満たす環境とは。」というテーマでお話しさせていただきました。この後４月に、奥日光エリアは環境省脱炭素先行地域に選定され、平本は「奥日光地域づくり住民協議会」のアドバイザー及び「環境エネルギー部会」のオブザーバーを拝命しております。Hideyuki Hiramoto gave a lecture at the 10th study session of the "Oku-Nikko Regional Development Council". As a perspective on landscape creation, I talked on the theme of "Oku-Nikko has to be more like Oku-Nikko, what kind of landscape fits the expectations of tourists?". In April 2023, the Oku-Nikko area was selected as a leading decarbonization area by the Ministry of the Environment, and Hideyuki Hiramoto was appointed an adviser for the Oku-Nikko Regional Development Council and an observer for the Environment and Energy Subcommittee.
